ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY - Remember

PLEASE CLICK ON IMAGE TO VIEW FULL-SIZE.

"Remember" got me thinking of nostalgia and time, and that led to time-travel somehow. I guess if you've got time travel, you don't need to remember...? Anyhow, here it is, feel free to click on the image to view it larger (it does look a lot better that way). Comments are more than welcome, as always.

very nicely rendered. I really enjoy how, while there's a lot of lights and darks, the entire palette feels cohesive. It also has a great solidity to the figures.

I also like how the 'time arrows' break the fourth wall. I do feel that the arrows would better serve the piece if they were somehow more flowing. The fact that the arrows are broken up really creates a disjointed rhythm rather than flowing through time.

I've always thought a non-hovering time machine was a waste. I always envision a rotorcraft time machine, but the magical anti-gravity time machine works as well.
